Queue

Queue feature helps to manage guest arrivals. Reservations put on queue go into a priority list for Housekeeping to attend to first. Coordinated Front Desk and Housekeeping operations help to serve guests in better way and prioritize their check-in time.

  • From Arrival List when you click on the “Queue” action button that room will be added in Queue menu. Except Inspected all other can be sent to Queue. This feature assists Housekeeping personnel to prioritize the urgency of the room and also helps Front Desk to maintain a report for delay in Check-In.
  • In this tab other than the common fields like (Reservation Id., Guest First Name, Guest Last Name, Room #, Arrival Date, Departure Date) we have also shown In Time, Out Time and Hours. When the room is send to Queue that is “In Time” and till the time the room is not inspected it will show in Queue Tab. Upon changing the room service status to Inspected the room will move back to Arrival List and this “time” will be noted as “Out Time”. In “Hours” column total calculated hours will be shown. Rooms can also be removed from Queue list by clicking on  back button on right side.

Hence, Queue Tab is only for viewing the list of rooms those are sent to Queue. You need not do any changes here except removing the room manually without changing status.
