Linen Category

In Jupiter we have designed a module called Linen Management from where you can manage all your Hotel Linen and Employee Uniforms. The process starting from Issuing, Return to Laundry In & Out. We will discuss about each process in their individual modules.

To start with the process you need to first create categories for the linen those are present in your property for everyday operation. By category we mean for example you will have different kinds of bed sheets like for Queen Bed, King Bed, etc; so “Bed sheet is one category which need to create first in this “Linen Category” Module and “Queen Size Bed Sheet” is an item which you will create in Linen Item Module.

Let’s learn to create Linen Category:

  1. Click on “Create Category” button.
  2. A form will open where you need to fill with accurate data and all fields are mandatory.
  3. Enter number of wash and it will validate your wash cycles.
  4. Select the type; if the category is for Employee Uniform then select “Staff”.
  5. Add description and click on “Create” button to create category.

After Category is created it appear in grid and Advance search and report remains same.
